All repairs are free for homeowners. Labor and supplies are usually donated or sponsored by local businesses and corporations, banks or service clubs.

Repair work is done by volunteers on the annual Workday. The next Workday, weather permitting, is scheduled for April 17, 2010.

Requirements

The residence must be owner-occupied, and the household must qualify as low-income seniors, disabled, or low-income with dependent children.

Application

Homeowners complete an Application Form that is reviewed by the Rebuilding Together™ Sebastopol Organizing Committee. All information is kept strictly confidential. Click on the following link to download the application:  HomeownerApplication2010

Applications are due by November 30, 2009 to be considered for the workday in April of 2010.

Review and Selection Process

After receipt of applications, appointments are scheduled for a member of the Rebuilding Together™ Sebastopol Organizing Committee and a skilled tradesperson to visit the home and homeowner to review eligibility criteria and the scope of work to be done.

During the selection process there may be homes that have no heat, a leaky roof, or other problems that are too crucial to wait until our next scheduled Workday. Our program allows us to address these issues on a case-by-case basis and make repairs throughout the year if needed.
